Plants offer natural filtration for your aquarium, help keep your fish healthy, and, when properly cared for, may produce magnificent aquascapes. Before you start looking for aquarium plants, ask yourself a few questions to ensure you get the proper ones for you and your fish tank. What kind of lights do you have in your tank. What sort of substrate are you working with? What (if any) fish do you currently have in your aquarium. How many plants will fit in your tank, and why do you want plants in your tank in the first place?To make things easier, we've put together a list of our favourite plants for beginners, along with some information to help you determine if they're perfect for your tank. There are several categories to consider while choosing and installing aquarium plants. Each of these groups of plants need a different amount of attention in order to thrive.

Plants in the foreground:- The front of your aquarium should have foreground plants, sometimes known as carpeting plants. They have a tendency to spread throughout your tank, forming a carpet that covers your substrate. They normally have a slower development rate and are shorter.

Plants on the middle ground:- Midground plants look wonderful on rocks or in the woods and may be used throughout your aquarium. They're not as huge as background plants, so they're less obtrusive and give your fish more room to swim in your aquarium.

Cryptocoryne Beckettii:- is a low-maintenance plant that tolerates a wide range of water conditions. Strong light can scorch the leaves and increase algae growth, so low to medium light is recommended. This plant looks best in the middle of an aquarium, where its scarlet leaves contrast with the greens for a striking focal point.

Anubias:- is a popular plant because it is difficult to destroy. They are quite robust and adapt well to changes in the tank. They thrive in low-light tanks that aren't supplemented with fertiliser. If you have a brighter tank, you can still have different anubias types of plant, but you'll have to keep it well-maintained because they grow rapidly and become quite compact. As a result, they'd become the new favourite spot for algae to thrive.

Java Fern is a kind of fern that grows:- This plant comes in a variety of sizes and leaf shapes. It's a plant with a reputation for growing quickly. The Java fern prefers moderate to low illumination and avoids direct sunlight. If you put this in a fish tank with a lot of light, you'll probably end up with a pretty brown plant.

Bacopa caroliniana:- is a plant native to the state of North Carolina. Bacopa caroliniana is a low-maintenance aquatic background plant. This plant can withstand a broad range of environments, including pH changes and low and high sunlight. It is one of the few stem plants that requires little care due to its sluggish growth pace. It looks best when planted in tiny groupings, as do most stem plants.
